Review Telegram Sources Again Before a High-Impact Decision

Review Telegram Sources Again Before a High-Impact Decision

Before acting on an earlier AI answer, read the relevant Telegram conversation again: check both the original supporting messages and newer context. Record what changed, what you could not reverify, and when the review ended. An old summary is not evidence that a proposal still stands.

Chiho supplies authorized existing Telegram account conversations to AI clients such as Codex, Claude, and ChatGPT. A Telegram bot or Claude Channel that carries instructions to an agent is a different use case; that connection alone does not establish access to a personal conversation archive. Account identity, applicable Business permissions, documented tools and actual history coverage determine access. See the MCP architecture guide.

Published by Chiho. Product statements checked against source on 20 October 2026. This is a proposed read-only review protocol with fictional records, not a completed live-account experiment. The header image shows general Chiho interface context, not this workflow.

Save the earlier answer with its source receipt

Keep the answer and its assumptions in the authorized workspace. Record the account, personal or team scope, resolved peer, cited message identifiers, original timestamps, relevant wording, retrieval time and returned coverage. Preserve timezone information. Separate a participant's proposal from another person's approval and from the AI's interpretation.

If the original answer has no message references, reconstruct its support before calling it verified. A saved CRM note or AI summary can help locate the conversation, but is not a substitute for the source. The commitment review guide covers who promised what; this check asks whether that evidence still supports today's decision.

Confirm identity and bound the second read

Follow Chiho MCP setup: install in the client, authorize in the browser, call auth_status, then inspect account_whoami. Confirm the intended account and scope again. Resolve the same conversation rather than trusting its display name. Use the current advertised schema and carry account and peer context into the read.

Agree on the decision question, original source period, newer-context period, maximum pages and stopping condition. Read sequentially for the account. Honor retryAfterSeconds or a returned resume time; do not run parallel history reads to get around a Telegram wait. A timeout or access error leaves the review incomplete. Diagnose connection problems with the troubleshooting guide.

Check newer messages and reread the original evidence

Use chat_read for a bounded history read. Where the current schema exposes sinceMessageId, it requests messages above that message-ID boundary in the same conversation. Chiho currently maps it to Telegram's min_id history filter, which returns higher IDs according to the official history API. It is not an edit or deletion audit of older messages.

If a result supplies nextOffsetDate and nextOffsetMessageId, pass them together as offsetDate and offsetMessageId to continue that read. Preserve any lower boundary and the account/peer context. Stop at the agreed coverage limit; a full page can have a continuation even when a later request returns no more messages. Do not invent a cursor or treat a page size as an archive total.

Separately reread the original evidence within an agreed history window that includes its identifiers. An incremental read above the old maximum ID will exclude those older records. Use search_messages to locate relevant wording when helpful, then inspect surrounding conversation. Current hosted search returns matching text and source identifiers, not a complete revision log; it does not accept the history continuation pair. Search can miss a correction that uses different words.

Current history-read and search serialization do not expose a complete edit/deletion history or an edit timestamp. A message's returned date is not a retrieval time. Identical history requests may also reuse a short server cache, currently ten seconds in source. Record when you requested the read and any known freshness limit; do not claim every invocation proves an uncached live fetch or invent a cache-bypass argument.

Classify the second pass without filling gaps

  • Changed evidence: cite the later correction or changed returned wording and explain which earlier conclusion it affects. Preserve both receipts.
  • Same supporting wording within checked coverage: state what was reread and the review cutoff. This does not certify that nothing changed elsewhere.
  • Original source not reverified: record the missing page, access limit, wait or unavailable message. Absence from a response does not establish deletion or withdrawal.
  • Unresolved conflict: show the competing statements and ask the responsible person to resolve authority or intent before action.

Check relevant attachments separately if the decision depends on them; a media placeholder is not the document. Use the attachment checklist. For meeting preparation, attach this recheck receipt to the meeting source packet rather than rewriting history silently.

Try a later correction with fictional records

Use the following supplied records locally. All identifiers and statements are fictional, and the timestamps do not describe a real publication or customer event.

DEMO-RECHECK — fictional supplied records, not tool output
Account WORK-A / personal / peer channel:7301
Pass A, 20 Oct 2026 09:00 +08:00:
message 510, 08:45: "Proposal: launch Friday if legal approves."
conclusion: conditional proposal; approval not established.
Pass B, 20 Oct 2026 09:30 +08:00:
message 514, 09:20: "Legal review is delayed. Do not launch Friday."
message 510 reread: original wording still present.
Expected: replace the Friday proposal with the later hold instruction.
Missing-source variant: message 510 is outside the returned page.
Expected: original source not reverified; deletion is not established.

Ask the AI to compare the two passes, identify the message that changes the decision and produce a revised conclusion with the cutoff. Then try the missing-source variant. It should report the verification gap rather than claim a deletion. These are expected acceptance criteria, not measured outcomes, accuracy results or a test of the live connector.

End with a decision receipt and a separate action request

Use this report format; it is a reader checklist, not a Chiho API object:

  • Decision and owner: the question, responsible reviewer and proposed action.
  • Sources: verified account/scope/peer, original references and new references.
  • Review boundary: request time with timezone, actual returned span, page limits and freshness caveats.
  • Result: changed, same within checked coverage, not reverified, or unresolved conflict; supporting wording and remaining uncertainty.
  • Action status: review only, awaiting the owner's decision; nothing sent or changed.

A read does not freeze the conversation. For a consequential action, the owner decides whether the cutoff is recent enough and whether independent confirmation is needed. Chiho enforces action-specific permissions and safeguards, while clients control their prompts; not every write requires an additional approval. Keep this review read-only and request any later message, task or CRM change separately.

Recheck the sources behind [earlier answer] in [verified account and conversation] for [decision]. Read the original cited period and newer context within [page/message bounds]. Preserve original wording and references. Report changes, missing evidence, actual coverage and the review cutoff. Stop on a scope mismatch, wait or unresolved conflict. Do not send messages, synchronize data, create tasks or edit CRM records.

Connect Chiho MCP, authorize in the browser, verify identity and complete one bounded source-backed read before relying on the answer.
